Dr. Shilling has been in practice since 1984. She is a native Nebraskan and all her training has been in Nebraska.

A psychiatrist goes to medical school for four years then takes another four year Residency just in Psychiatry. After the Residency it is a two year process to become board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Shilling is Board Certified.

Dr. Shilling sees all ages and psychiatric conditions. She also sees families in family therapy and does marriage counseling.

Dr. Shilling is affordable, confidential and flexible. She will fill out a Good Faith Estimate predicting the costs of self-pay patients. She is always available to answer any billing or insurance questions.

Dr. Shilling can do the therapy, as well as any medication management you may need, at the same visit, so you will not need to get an additional therapist. If you already are working with a therapist she can just do the medication management. Dr. Shilling has published a medical journal article on "Prescribing Principles of Psychotropic Medications".

Patients who do not need medication just do therapy.
